BYU Study

Contrary to what the picture might elude, Princess does not have issues with her brain. I volunteered her for a study that was being conducted by BYU on how babies link images with sound. Of course they cannot talk yet so they have to put these sensors on to detect energy pulses on the scalp that tell them when the brain is excited and which part of it is excited. It was kind of cool because instead of hooking them all to the head like you see in freaky movies, they now have a kind of cap that hooks them all together so you can just slip it on and adjust it.
Pretty much all they did was put Princess in front of a screen and played clips of women saying "Hello Baby". In some of the clips the mouth and voice where sync but about every other one the woman's mouth would say "Hello Beautiful Baby" but the voice still said "Hello Baby" so the voice was not matching the movement of the mouth. It was kind of fun to be part of a study and I love the picture they took and printed for me.
